Elopement of my dreams

When Karli reached out to me about photographing her and Hunter’s intimate elopement at Navarre Beach, I felt a wave of excitement. Their love story, filled with deep meaning, resonated with me, and I was eager to capture this special chapter of their lives. I truly get so excited about documenting intimate weddings because the emotions and the connections are so strong throughout the day. After much contemplation, they chose to elope on Navarre Beach, surrounded by their closest family, in a location that held significant value for them both. You can find more locations along the Gulf Coast here, that will be perfect for your elopement or intimate wedding that fits your needs.

Getting Ready at the Bay

The timeline of their special day began at a charming rental house by the bay, where Karli prepared for her ceremony. We started with beautiful getting-ready portraits and bridal shots, capturing her excitement and anticipation. One of the highlights was the emotional first look with her dad, setting a heartfelt tone for the day.

An Emotional First Look

Next, we arranged a first look between Karli and Hunter at the edge of the water. As he waited, the anticipation built up, and when Karli walked toward him, the moment was pure magic. We captured stunning portraits before heading to the national seashore for the ceremony.

An Intimate Ceremony

The ceremony itself was surrounded by their parents and sisters and was everything they wanted it to be—simple, meaningful, and filled with love. After the vows were exchanged, anyone returned to the house for a small reception, while Karli and Hunter took time for sunset portraits on the beach, soaking in the beauty of the moment.

Celebration with Loved Ones

The reception was a delightful gathering with their closest friends and family, featuring cupcakes and champagne to celebrate their love. The simplicity of the day added to its charm, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect.
